Our Year-Round Lawn Care Program

The turfgrasses that grow in our cities are varied. The King GREEN program is lawn-specific, meaning we have a specific agronomic program for each of the grass species. We use a combination of liquid and dry products. The liquid provides superior weed control, and the dry provides better controlled-release fertilizer. By using a combination, when most lawn services don't, we find that it yields higher-quality, healthier lawns at no extra cost to you. Below are our programs for lawns.

	FESCUE – Year-Round Lawn Care Program
1	Prevention Early Spring	Fertilization to provide early spring green-up. Pre- and post-emergent herbicide to prevent weed problems in the future.
2	Maintain I Late Spring	Fertilization. Pre- and post-emergent weed controls to keep your lawn looking its best.
3	Maintain II Early Summer	Controlled-release fertilization and post-emergent weed controls to keep your lawn looking its best.
4	Conditioner Mid-Summer	Limestone supplements applied to condition soil - allows the lawn to use your King GREEN fertilizers efficiently.
5	Maintain III Late Summer	Controlled-release fertilization and post-emergent weed controls to keep your lawn looking its best.
6	Development Fall	High-phosphorus fertilizer applied to promote seedling development. This is the best time to core aerate and seed Fescue lawns.
7	Maintain IV Late Fall	Fertilization and broadleaf weed control as needed.

	BERMUDA AND ZOYSIA – Year-Round Lawn Care Program
1	Prevention Early Spring	Fertilization for root development. Pre-emergent herbicide to control annual grasses. Broadleaf weed control.
2	Green Up Late Spring	Fertilization. Pre- and post-emergent weed controls. This is the best time to core aerate Bermuda/Zoysia lawns.
3	Maintain I Early Summer	Controlled-release fertilization to maintain summer color. Broadleaf weed control as necessary.
4	Maintain II Mid-Summer	Controlled-release fertilization to maintain summer color. Broadleaf weed control as necessary.
5	Maintain III Late Summer	Pre- and post-emergent weed control. Broadleaf weed control as necessary.
6	Winterization Late Fall	Specially designed root zone fertilization. Pre- and post-emergent weed control. This application prepares your lawn for winter sleep.
7	Conditioner Winter	Limestone supplement applied to condition soil - allows the lawn to use your King GREEN fertilizers efficiently.
